For the first time ever, the impostor Jason (aka Roy) from Friday the 13th Part 5 comes to action figure form! Never before available in any size or scale, this brand new figure stands 8" tall and is dressed in tailored fabric clothing similar to the retro toy lines that helped define the licensed action figure market in the 1970s. Jason/Roy comes with movie accurate accessories, including cleaver, clippers, and hunting knife, plus a removable mask with the blue chevrons that were unique to Part 5. Friday the 13th: A New Beginning begins with a dream sequence in which the young Tommy Jarvis watches two older boys exhume the remains of the mighty Jason Voorhees; magically restored to life, Jason quickly dispatches the older boys and set and fixes Tommy with a menacing stare. Waking from the dream, a young adult Tommy is transferred to the Pinehurst Halfway House. Around the same time another teen, Joey is murdered by a fellow teen. Upon arrival the paramedic Roy is visibly disturbed, slipping into a sinister catatonic stare. Immediately afterwards a jumpsuit-clad killer with a hockey mask begins mimicking Jason’s murders, targeting the teens from the halfway house and anyone else within approximate vicinity, causing Tommy, who suffers vivid Jason hallucinations, to question his sanity. Tommy confronts the imposter Jason, believing the latter to be a hallucination, and suffers a slash from the killer’s machete, but he wounds the imposter by stabbing him in the thigh with a pocketknife. Possessing a modicum of the true Jason’s strength and savagery but lacking the latter’s superhuman resiliency, the wounded imposter Jason is impaled on a rack of metal spikes and is revealed to be Roy, Joey’s estranged father.
